Castillo San Felipe del Morro
This castle was built in 1783 to protect the city of San Juan from being attacked. There are many "garitas" at different points of the castle. These were perfect for a beautiful picture op. The views from the top of the castle onto the ocean were amazing! But be careful because while you may be enjoying the beautiful view, a scary iguana might just sneak up on you!
Isla Culebra
Isla Culebra is an island that is about 20 minutes away from Puerto Rico. To get there you need to take an air taxi. The air taxi was very tiny and very noisy. We visited Tamarindo Beach and Flamenco Beach. In Tamarindo beach we went snorkeling and even saw a sea turtle! We also saw many tiny fish and sea urchins!
